DGzPRsport is participating in IASD’s student exchange program. The aim is to give young dentists the opportunity to gain an insight into sports dentistry in different countries.
Samantha Hofstra from A&M University Dallas, USA, is currently in Germany, learning more about the organization and implementation of DGzPRsport’s dental care concepts in sports.
“We’re truly interested in supporting what our student members do.
If young members engage internationally, this can only be perceived as an advantage for sports dentistry as a whole.
To this end, we plan to make efforts over the next year in order to establish a forum within IASD that is responsible for organizing international exchanges and clinical traineeships abroad,” reports Dr. Holger Claas, President of DGzPRsport and General Secretary of the IASD.
